No- Poo for ME!

Hello again. So today I am going to talk about my journey with the "no-Poo" method. So far I'm on week 2, last week I had washed my hair twice, once because the fourth of July and I needed my hair not to be greasy, in case photos were taken. But this week I am planning on only one wash. I use the traditional method of baking soda and warm water. And honestly after washing with the baking soda my hair looks amazing and it feels amazing too. So here is a photo of my hair( July 7, 2013), yes it is getting very greasy and it doesn't help that I decided to do this in the summer time. I do feel yucky, and the ends of my hair are a bit static-y. I am going to wash this coming Tues(July 9, 2013). I will take a photo of my hair after a fresh wash so you can see the difference.

A Little update on me..

Ok so I have been M.I.A now for awhile but here's an update. My birthday has passed in May, and since I have been wanting to get my Tragus pierced I decided to get it done. So I went to the local tattoo parlor, and the man that did my piercing was very nice and even gave me a ten dollar discount. To be honest it does hurt when getting it done, and it scared me when he did it because I wasn't fully prepared for the pain factor, but I am loving it, it's dainty and cute. The second biggest thing that I have decided to do health wise, was to quit using shampoo and conditioner. A lot of people have termed it going "Poo Free"( which is hilarious). But I have also gotten my twin to do it with me, we have semi fine hair (not thick but not fine either) it's straight, and it tends to get oily quick. So were doing this the traditional way I suppose by using baking soda mixed with water( I add tea tree oil), and a apple cider vinegar rinse after. Now I'm only on week one so I have not noticed a dramatic change in my hair yet. But I will keep you all posted on that as the weeks turn to months and so on.
Heres my 1 week hair poo free

And here is my new piercing! I can't wait till it is fully healed so I can change the jewelry.

Nail Art I'm loving!

Lately I've been trying out different nail art, with fimo rods, dotting tools, stripers, confetti, etc. And before I haven't been creative when it comes to my nails. But here are some nail art that I am going to "try" to recreate :) Aren't they pretty?

(These are my nails, using the new Heart to Art in Make me a birthday flake.)
 Some cute Totoro nails!

And of course  nails from Mr. Kate :)

Would you try out any of these nail designs?
